Music
List of music I have downloaded
Music is haram. I listen to a lot of music so it's weird how I haven't described a bit the music I like. It's not very important as it's all personal but here it goes:
- dubstep: lots of tracks and artists I like are there, i can't list them because there are hundreds of them (actually there are more than 2000 files wtf). my favorite genre above everything. as i've mentioned in other places object61 is my favorite artist, it's the one that made some of the most beautiful and unique tracks, they have a touch that reaches me and no one can replace it
- metal: i don't listen to metal that much but when i do it's mostly black metal and dsbm, probably the album suicidal emotions by abyssic hate is my favorite. i love xasthur. there are other very good tracks from other subgenres. i don't like death metal that much but cock and ball torture is pretty good. I love gorenoise and other noise tracks but i don't listen much to them, it's kind of i listen to them when i feel stressed and my mind is rushing through thoughts or things and just don't want to do anything all day although i do that usually, astravakra lingam is a great one. probably not metal though, more like electronic "music". also the songs under the "hekatom-nine-circles" are from someone i know IRL :D
- idm: i remember discovering aphex twin maybe around 2020 but i didn't like it much, now i discovered some awesome albums from aphex twin, squarepusher, autechre, etc
- psytrance: psykovsky is great, i don't think i've listened to anything else still
- Daniel Avery: no idea what genre is this, but sounds very good. there's a track of him on soulwax fm in gta v, I remember listening to that radio station when i was younger and now i explored more artists
- Jefre Cantu Ledesma: again no idea what's this but it's neat, according to sources he has tracks of drone and ambient
- trip hop: no idea if it's the correct genre name but anyways portishead is great, especially the album Third, from which the rip and we carry on are the best tracks
- breakcore: i don't like this one as much but recently i have been listening to goreshit and there are very good tracks
- rap: i used to listen to hip hop many years ago but i don't like it as much now. still i think that it's the best genre for lyrical stuff, that's why most of my AI/LLM songs under the suno directory are rap.
- other: some tracks from sicksexsquad are neat, who knows what genre it is though, kind of breakcore. the track boys don't cry by the gerogerigegege is great, i remember listening to it in the past i was kind of "depressed", also some of their noise albums are great. i love this track and video Zako / Kaai Yuki. i'm not a weeb but from what i've seen it's about a mesugaki teasing you and the video is very cute as well
- OSTs: i haven't listened much to them since i used to play games years ago. i remember that the ost of doom eternal, serious sam first and second encounter were great, also postal 1 and 2 have very good sound effects, it's not music per se but some are very good and made me love them. the soundtrack of the coffin of andy and leyley has very good tracks as well
I guess I could discover a lot more if I wasn't lazy and didn't stay on my comfort zone but I listen to many more tracks than most people anyways. There are over 27G of music, almost all files are of "bad" quality though like 128kbps.
