English is the current global lingua franca and will continue to be for hundreds of years, if civilization isn't destroyed that is. Despite being a grammatically simple language, it doesn't have fixed rules for pronunciation, so some words are pronounced in a certain way and you can't figure it out unless you hear them. Though it's easy to get used to it if you watch a lot of videos and movies and pay attention. It's good to also install some TTS software in your computer. Really I don't know what kind of organism thought that making a non-phonetic language would be a good idea but we all use english so it is what it is. The author of this wiki knows several things about english, but it would be better if a native speaker or someone very experienced teaches it.
